SuperSystem SideKicks Demo Program NOTICE: As of 4/22/04, the Sidekicks Program has been temporarily suspended. Sidekicks Event Submission Form Sidekicks Reporting Form Download Sidekicks flyer here Expectations of the Sidekick 1) You must have at least 2 fully painted (SuperFigs) teams to run demos with. These should include a minimum of 255 points per side from the Sample Super Teams section of the SuperSystem (S2) rule book, web site, or published expansions. This mix of figures must include at least one painted, 5-model (or more) Henchmen Group. 2) Run a minimum of 2 events every 6 months. An event is defined as a Demo, tournament, or League Series. [Every 2 League Series sessions count as one event. Example: You run a once every 2 weeks League event for 3 months, this would count as 3 events.] 3) You are expected to represent Four-Color Figures, West Wind Productions, and S2 in a positive manner. This means you are expected to dress nice [not fancy, jeans and T-shirts are fine], be clean, and avoid vulgar or inappropriate dress and activities while running sanctioned events. 4) No alcohol, drugs, or violence will be tolerated before or during a sanctioned event. We will be sending out survey forms to the store owners, Con organizers, and Club event Organizers after each event you run in order to maintain a high visibility and get feed back on our products, games and representatives. 5) Have FUN! If you do not love the game and enjoy getting others to try it, there is no reason for you to be a Sidekick. If you are joining for material rewards alone, please reconsider. Rewards 1) Getting started: When your application to join the Sidekicks program is accepted, you will be placed on a special list that will allow you to place an initial SuperFig order from Old Glory Miniatures for 40% off the retail price. This initial order should include enough figures for you to make up your two demonstration forces, but can include much more if you like. Experience Points will have a Dollar Value which can be 'spent' to purchase miniatures, books, and other products the company may sell. Every event you run earns you a set number of EP, and each EP can be exchanged for $1.00 worth of SuperFigs/SuperSystem product. The breakdown of Event EP values is: • Demos earn you 3 EP • Tournaments earn you 6 EP • League Series earns you 2 EP per session [not more than 4 EP a month with a max of 20 EP a year from LS] 3) Fame Points: FP are different from EP in that they are not spent and would accumulate differently. FP are used to attain special 'goals' within the Sidekicks Program. These might include, but are not limited to, limited edition figures, T-Shirts, and other free stuff. Fame Points are earned as follows: • 1 FP for each Tournament run • 2 FP for each Demo run • 4 FP for each League Series of at least 6 sessions run Procedures Every time you want to run a SuperSystem event, you should follow the following procedures. Go to the SideKicks section of SuperFigs website (http://www.superfigs.net), and do the following: 1.) Fill out an Event Submission Form and send it to us (just click the send button when it is completed). You should try to do this at least 10 days in advance of your event so that we can approve the event and provide you adequate prize support. 2.) When you have run your event, provide us with a full report using the Event Reporting Form. Fill in as much detail as possible in the 'Comments' field, including what rules might have proven confusing to people, comments about figures or rules, player suggestions, and your input on how things went. You don't have to write a book, but if something interesting happened, let us know. 3.) Keep good records. If you keep good records of all of your events, you can have a back-up log of your hard work (and earned EP and FP) in the event of a disaster on our end. This will also allow you to easily survey what you have done over the past months or years, and recognize if your events are becoming a little redundant, or perhaps remind you that it might be time to run a tourney again. 4.) Don't forget to spend your earned EP and FP! We'll have a handy chart on our web site (accessible only by official SideKicks) that tracks your earned EP. When you decide it's time to cash some in, simply fill in the Figure Request Form, calculate the EP cost, and send it off to us. We'll mail your figures out ASAP.
